So Thursday's ATC night was so much fun at the store. I along with 5 of my art friends made cards and laughed for a couple of hours. I ended up making cards with a new technique and have been kind of hooked on them since. I start with a dictionary page/word glued on a playing card. Then I sketch the word I want to feature making sure to not cover the word I am drawing. I draw it with a charcoal pencil and then fill in with acrylic paints.
They are so much fun I think I need to try some in a larger format but these are either going to be matted and framed or made into magnets not quite sure yet.
