Just wanted to thank everyone who keeps up with me and our family through this blog for any part you have had in our lives. I am a truly blessed person and Christmas is always a time to remember that and thank everyone who is responsible for me living my dream.
Christmas is also a time to remember old traditions and remember those who are no longer here. One of those fantastic people that I will never forget is my Grandpa Luchsinger. I recently found this picture of him that I have been looking for for about 2 years now. It was stuck in the pages of an old book that thankfully I paged through before getting rid of it. My Grandpa was a jokester. Even though most of my life he was in a wheelchair due to MS he was always goofy and the life of the party. I love him and miss him a lot. Both him and Grandma were far too young to die and I would give almost anything for them to still be here to meet Molly and know that their support of me when I was young lead me to live the life most only dream of living. We went to their house often and spent Saturday nights eating braunshweiger and crackers and watching Lawrence Welk. Grandma always had crayons and paper on the kitchen table and would teach us to draw the most beautiful portraits forming my early love of art while we ate her famous tomato soup spaghetti. Oh I miss them.
