Pins, barettes or cuffs?

I just want to know what you all think? I made these little beauties using all recycled materials...old hats, sewing notions, thread, buttons and anything else I find to throw in them...and just can't decide on what they should be. Let me know and you can win one of them! I will be doing a little poll and randomly pick one person who comments on this post with your suggestion to be the proud owner and wearer of one of these very victorian inspired whatevers. I will really pick by closing my eyes and pointing. Contest ends on Wednesday so leave your suggestion now!

darlin' - i think pins or cuffs are your safest bets. although i am a big fan of fancy barettes and hair pins. congrats on your etsy sales!

I think the top one would be great as a cuff. The bottom too though I think would do better as a pin or barrette. I am not sure how well barrettes do but I think that would be an awesome hair accessory (one that I would wear!)

As we already discussed...LOVE THEM! And I vote pins for all three.

I'm going with cuffs. They'd make cute prom corsages (wristlets) or sweet vintage bridesmaid's accessories.

Barettes, Barettes, Barettes!!!! I'm totally sad I don't have enough hair for them. . . or. . . maybe they should go on headbands? Yes, THAT I could do. BTW: Did you change the color scheme of the blog? I like it.

"Vintage Whatevers" can be just that...whatever! If when they are completed and seem better purposed as a barette, attach the hardware. If they appear to be better used as a pin, attach a pin back. If in doubt make two, one barette and one pin. Who knows, you will probably come up with some that can be earrings! I say, why settle for just one use, cover all bases and make lots. That way you will meet everyones needs and make lots of etsy sales. Great way to reuse and recycle. Love em!

I think the top one would make a great pin or barrette, the others would make great barettes.

I also don't have the hair for them :(

I love the ones with the measuring tape. You may want to brighten up your photos, they seem a bit dark. Try using a custom white balance on your camera, that sould help!

I think they should serve dual purposes...first, as decorations for wrapped packages (how large are they?) Then, the gift recipient should continue to be able to use it as a pin, barette, or maybe even a magnet!

Sorry it took so long to find your blog!!! Living in Manitowoc and not having been to your shop I am ashamed...will make sure to stop soon. I love all of these and think they would be great as pins or barretes!
