Christmas.

What a wonderful Christmas it was. Christmas eve we spent at my mom and dad's and ate too much and drank too much but had a great time exchanging gifts, playing games and visiting family. Molly got a Mrs. Goodbee house and wasn't expecting it at all so she really got excited. We came home and promptly went to bed so Santa would come. Christmas morning Molly came in bed by us and snuggled. She forgot Santa came and we had to remind her! She was so cute and thankful for all her gifts. I was pretty impressed by her gratitude. She said thank you over and over and kept saying how she was so lucky. It was adorable.
Christmas is so wonderful. I love being with family. This is a pic of me, Kelly my sis, Kevin my bro and Molly. I am so lucky to not only have my family that I love and cherish but my husband's family who I love just as much. We are a truly blessed. We forgot to bring Molly's gifts to Glenn's parents on Christmas day and we live about 40 minutes away from them. Glenn was pretty bummed out and was going to drive back home to get them when Molly said "Daddy it's alright Christmas is about giving, don't go home." I was happy that the talks we had leading up to Christmas taught her a little about the true meaning of the season. I hope she never forgets that.

To see things again through a child's eyes is a great gift--the power of innocence and clarity of children are positively uplifting. I'm so glad you had a beautiful and fun Christmas--the kids look so happy together :)

Happy New Year My Friend--Jodi

Happy Holidays. Thank you for the inspiration on the blogspot. Isn't it fun to have a little one at Christmas time? I plan on posting some of my own photos of mine, eventually. Good job! Carol (QueenBe)

And I love what your little sweetie said about giving....

When our power went out YET AGAIN on Christmas morning and we were feeling stressed....my youngest said, "You know Mom, they didn't have electricity in the stable, but they did have love." Kind of put it all in perspective for me....

Kids are pure heaven on earth :)
